Over the course of 9 months during 2022, the ATLAS project – a scifi story told in 4 immersive scenes – took place in The Workshop.
Originally intended as a collaboration between 4 builders, all 4 parts were eventually built by myself.
The project pushed my photography skillset to new heights and resulted in some of my personal favorite scenes in my portfolio.
During fall 2022, we hosted a medieval-themed community collaboration in The Workshop – Gothic: Mistlands
6 builders submitted MOCs inspired by the gothic period, all with an autumn twist in spirit of the season the collab took place.
All the submissions can be admired in the Gothic: Mistlands Flickr group.
In recent years, immersive cinematic photography has become one of my favorite fields to combine my passion of capturing depth, emotion and atmosphere with my love of creating worlds in bricks.
Many of my scenes are products of the moment, results of a spontaneous impulse, freezing an imaginary moment in a still picture.
As a fan of The Clone Wars series, I was delighted when the show returned for one final season to go out with a bang.
In memory of my favorite moments from the final season, I built „The Phantom Apprentice“ in 2021. This model was later reworked and remained on display in my studio for years before it was finally parted out.
Its legacy lives on in a smaller diorama, which you can build for yourself using the custom building instructions available in the shop.
